Picked up an interesting Yugo M1924 bayonet today. The blade is the original length, blued, and the muzzle ring has been removed. When I removed the scabbard from the frog, I was surprised to find that the screw above the frog stud has been removed and the hole plugged. A tapped hole for a set screw has been added to the side German-style, though the screw is missing.

I know the Germans cut off the muzzle ring and blued the blade, but did they also modify the scabbards as well?

Are you talking about a long blade bayonet? Might it look something like this?

By any chance, is it marked anything like this?

No, it is not one of the M24b conversions, just a standard BT3 long bayonet. Muzzle ring has definitely been removed. The serial number was damaged in the process with the first digit being completely obliterated and the second partially so.
