I love battle damage, it helps tell the story of the rifle a little better than a mint condition rifle will. Hopefully I can find a battle damaged arisaka someday.

I'll have an early 7th in my next sale. You wouldn't be interested though, it's mint except for being ground.
Still, you could buy it then shoot it a couple of times & drop it into the campfire and have your "battle damage"

I may have to give that a peek. Does it have the grooved safety? I like ground rifles.
