More goodies from the Greenville show. I have never seen one like this. A two piece buckle, clasp, and a 2" wide beautifully brocaded / woven belt. Appears to be a white nylon like cord, very intricate weave. Some kind of parade belt ? Sling is unmarked, 1.125 wide, very serviceable condition.

Looks like the cording on the Luft belt could be parachute cord. My guess was done post war not an issue one.

Possibly trench art. A GI, or Kraut with too much time on their hands, practicing their weaving skills.

Agreed, aren't the hook and adjustment buckle from an M1 Garand sling? Whatever it is, it is post-War for wear in the civilian world.

Perhaps not. The Luft belt could be German done. The sling is the work of a bored GI or someone though and the parts are off of a WW2 M1 web sling.

definitely nothing Luft issue, either US or German trench art or souvenir as previously stated!
