I picked up this short Japanese sword today that is actually a flag holder.I have no idea what the flag is but the sword is very neat.Anyone have any info on this.It is similar to the bayonet flag holder.

I have a very similar flag, in worse condition but with some writing, that was listed as a pre-war fire brigade flag.

Wow this must be a rare one.The book says the author only knows of 5 of these.I guess this is number 6.Must be why no one could give me any info on it.Thanks Stu you have been great help.They talk about these in Jim Dawson's book.
