Hi,

I'm new to the forum and am looking for more information on a F.B. Radom 1928 Rifle I inherited. I have googled "Radom 1928" and have not found very much information for this particular model. I have very limited knowledge on vintage firearms and was hoping someone here could help me understand the value, history, and a possible site/place to by parts for this rifle.

As far as I can tell the Bolt serial numbers all match, the front and rear sight numbers match, and the barrel and receiver(?) match. Some of my terminology might not be accurate so I've included some pictures to help (see below). The stock is in good shape but has some Duct Tape residue. It looks like someone duct taped a towel or pad to the butt of the stock and later removed it, leaving behind the residue. I haven't dared clean anything yet (overall it is actually pretty clean) until I do some more research on how to restore/clean vintage rifles.

I also noticed that there is a missing bolt that goes right behind the trigger guard. Does anyone know where I could possibly purchase a replacement bolt?

Anyway, I would appreciate anyone's knowledge on this old timer. I'm hopefully I can get it back into pristine condition and learn more about it's history.

Hello. You have a polish rifle called a k98. It is in a k98k German stock that was cut down. Also a German k98k bolt too. You are missing a triggergaurd screw.

Thank you Milsurp2.0! It sounds like it is a mix of the two different k98 guns you mentioned. I'll start doing some research on k98 rifles since I have been trying to research the wrong gun earlier.
