"This is a rare "ROCKOLA" manufacture M1 Carbine. The rear of the receiver is marked ROCKOLA as is the barrel. There is a cartouche consisting of a series of numbers (unit number?) over PG - W 10/57 over what looks like an eagle wings down with BMV:00 over Z7 located on the sling inlet on the left side of the buttstock."

From a Century Auction description. I don't plan on bidding by an curious as to the Country that used the Carbine. Is anyone Familiar with the Cartouche?

Looks like some kind of eagle, maybe it is one of the german police carbines that we gave them after the war. Just a guess thats all.
