For the 8x53r. Check your land and groove, if you have at least .317 / .329 , My best load for accuracy so far has been the Hornady 8x56r 209 grain .329 dia bullet. I use reformed 7.62x54r cases at 2.066 . The OCL is 2.908 . 24.5 of SR-4759 got me 1660 fps and the accuracy was ok. The best by far was 26.8 of I-4198 at 1780 fps . If you have a real tight bore or want to use .323 bullets, go with a .323 with a long bering surface. A H-195 sp is good, any .323 200 to 225 round nose. A good starting point for those is about 22.0 of SR-4759 or 26.0 of I-4198. You may lose some velocity depending how well they seal up the bore, you can then increase the charge as needed. I have kept all of my loads on the light side for this rifle as it is old and rare. Mine does shoot the .329 209 with 26.8 of I-4198 very well with a 7 group average of 2.68 with 5-shot groups at 100 yards. For the Italian 10.35x47r you REALLY have to know your bore size as they had an early and late type barrel. With a .429ish groove I have had very good results with a .411 - .431 dia heeled bullet from Buffalo, loaded with 21.2 of 2400 for 1300 fps. These loads used reformed .348 win cases at 1.87 and an OCL of 2.47. I also have a weird load for a M-70 TS with the early barrel. It is a .404 - .426 . I formed Graff 8mm Lebel cases [ my cases had rim sizes all over the place and I sorted out the ones with rims of .613 to .616 ] to 10.35x47r at 1.87 lenght. I then necked them down to take a .41 mag pistol bullet [ the SI# 8530 220 sil ] . I used 24.2 of SR-4759 for 1200 fps. OCL of 2.291 . That load is very slow, but also cheap to do. It shot great in my rifle. A friend also tried it in his early bore with good results. That shoud get you started, I have tried many other bullets and powders but the above loads have been the best so far. mag
