Sometimes it makes you sad seeing this kind of actions. I think they could make more money out of them by selling them outside of the country.

If it's any consolation, im sure those things aren't in the greatest condition, beat up like crazy, sitting in the philippines all this time...

although that probably means the ww2 nature of them is very likely...

guess that explanes why the CMP is having a hard time finding Garand's to import.

and just think, bet they were all WWII vintage.....:(

Beat up or not its still a shame! Not really sure what those were with what appeared to be a tube under the barrel?

Thats Why I can get a good Garand. They could have made a lot of money for their country by just selling parts.

Heck Lemmy tell the Finnish powers that be this...... I am sick due to the manner the Finns are scrapping tanks that could - should be sold..... Darn Finns (smile)

I think the U.S. should have taken them all back to sell on the surplus market (to me :) ). It makes me mad whenever I see a picture of guns being rounded up to be scrapped :(
