I need the small screw that locks the throat piece into the scabbard on the 84/98 III. Want to find an ORIGINAL screw for an otherwise PRISTINE 37 dated scabbard.

I have listed this in WTB forum also.

This would be the last place I'd be looking for a screw
Sorry I dont have a spare, I knew there was some reason I should have bought that bayonet that looked like it had been run over by a tank. If all else fails, I think springfield sporters here in America has bayonet parts.

I have a repro screw from the Czech seller on Fleabay, but I HATE repro anything in my collection, even a damned little screw.
