The problem is, I'm not exactly sure what it is.

I think it's a Moschetto Mod. 1938 TS. It's marked 'Terni' with a crown, 7.35, and Finnish 'SA' marked. The rifle is gorgeous, full bluing throughout, an almost flawless stock, and all visible numbers are stamped matching. The bore looks pristine and it has an unmarked bayonet with scabbard. I'd provide pics if I could, but can't.

What would approx. ballpark value be on something like this?

It's not the folding variety of bayonet, but the blade type with scabbard.
