If it is a star with an arrow inside it stamped on the top of the barrel shank it is a Tula made rifle, as that is the arsenal mark of the Tula Plant.

A photo or two would help identify it if the star is somewhere else, as smaller parts like the bolt head etc can also be marked with a star and it would help identify if you have a 1929 M91 Dragoon or an ex-Dragoon etc 馃憤

I think 1929 was the year that Tula started using the star with the arrow, correct? If so, OP could have one of two different roll markings. Regardless, a star on the barrel would still be a Tula.

Very cool 1924 you have there. According to my Google translate it says "Please read USSR issued manual before use".
