Dreams

Dreams like yours are meant to be told. I'd like to see it happen and wonder what chances they'll take to try and come on the lands of Nations within a Nation and attempt to do something like that. Let's just say those Nations within this Nation are the only ones that can legally declare war on this republic. It's a day many in the Nations look forward to with a relish.

Actually it exists as long as that piece of paper exists. Just a bit of historical fact. Don't worry bout belittling one as stuff like that just "DMN". Besides our rights go back a bit further than what you state for the "citizens". Also if what you state is so then the"citizens" you talk about were in actuality citizens of the crown and not of the republic that came forth out of rebellion. But it's just a dream Ted, it's just a dream we're talking about.

Agreement was in quotes because it isn't really an agreement at all. Rebellion against tyranny is a natural right of man inherent in all people which is simply spelled out in the Declaration of Independence. The DoI neither creates nor upholds the right therefore the right is not dependent on the DoI.

I fail to see how one people group's natural rights can extend further than another group's. I simply used the word "citizen" to refer to people in general and to make the distinction that we are not subjects.

Ted, I can understand why you fail to understand such a simple fact. It rests solely on the years of political indoctrination you've lived with especially the public school system as it was soley meant to to just that. I dare not venture to say "our" people's rights come before your ancestors simply because we are as diverse as your ancestoral peoples in Europe (and elsewhere abroad)whereever they were expelled from or escaped for econonmic, political, or religious reasons. Here before the arrival of your ancestors many viewed themselves as Nations long before the concept of the republic. In fact, some historians have said Ben Franklin stole the idea(s) of national consciousness from the 6 Nations. In any regards, I suggest reading more Colonial American History or as one individual stated, the Histories of "!st Peoples". It might broaden your horizons. Have a nice day.

What does viewing your group as a nation have to do with individual rights?

My point is simply that we all have the same God given rights as men regardless of our heritage or current state of enslavement.

BTW, while I did suffer through gov't schooling and indoctrination, I've come further than most in rising above it.

Yes and with them a large reserve of 5.56mm ammunition and 9mm as well. Probably more than enough for the few who would actually offer meaningful resistance to be able to easily use/obtain automatic weapons without regard to ammunition conservation. That's the nice thing about having an AR/other Nato type main battle rifle and a 9mm, if the SHTF and you actually managed to survive the onslaught of government forces, you can take their own ammunition and use it against them.

It is not the gun owners who should be scared, it is the government, for if guns are outlawed, there will be those who fight to the death to preserve their rights. These people have nothing to lose, and history has shown that those with nothing to lose are by far the most dangerous to go up against in a survival type scenario.
