ST,
Check your email. Marion Mericle still had a rough one last time I saw him for a whopping $75. Little blue left, but intact.
Maggie,
I didn't go to the show. I typically do well at the Farmer's market show. Most likely because I have little competition there. Last trip netted me a 91/59 built from a '39 Tula 91/30 with a cut down pre-war 91/30 stock. The time before that I got a '44 Izhevsk M44 that had a wartime hardwood stock with a wrist crossbolt. I even laid my hands on an ex-PE 91/30 at that venue once only to mis-identify it. Another Gunboards member found it a week or two later at the guy's shop and snagged it.
Guitarzan,
I shoot at River Bend. Nice facility. It's a couple bucks more than most other clubs which is good and bad. The good is you are relatively safe as most members have a reasonable handle on safety, the bad is there is a high level of snobbery and I am routinely disabused for my affection of AK variants. Of course, that's where using earplugs and earmuffs together comes in real handy.

If you want to see the place one day, let me know. Shouldn't take you too long to get there.
