I am building up a Yugo M92 krink kit but WA doesnt allow sbr's so I have to extend the barrell with a muzzle brake. I am thinking of using the K-var fake suppressor they have they looks authentic on one of these. But how do you permently attache an alloy brake to a steel barrel. I dont think you can silver solder it on but maybe I am wrong. Anyone know what would work and be legal, I am hoping to avoid pinning it.

You can't silver braze or solder aluminum, nor can you weld it on.

In this case, I'd contact K-Var to ask how they recommend mounting it to satisfy Federal law.
They probably will recommend blind pinning.
That's about all you can do when dealing with aluminum.
Aluminum won't solder or braze, and you can't weld it either due to the aluminum to steel problem.

Federal law allows "permanent" mounting by brazing, welding or pinning.

On one of my Krinks, I used an aluminum fake can. I permanately attached it by drilling through the bottom of the can and into the front sight base (stopping at the barrel), tapping the hole and using a hex-head set screw and loc-tite. I then ground off the head of the screw flush, leaving a smooth contour with the can.
