I just purchased one last week for $ Cdn 160 (shipping incl.). These sights are becoming more difficult to find, less those heftier E-Bay prices which sometimes approach the ridiculous ! Not sure how my recent purchase compares to others in the market, but I considered mine a reasonable deal.

UPDATE- I won the eBay auction for this sight, $170 all included. I also am ordering a full set of screws from Evans Custom Screw & Machine, including the longer ejector screw for my application. I am opting for the 3 mm socket-head screw options with the allen key so adjustments can be made without stripping the slot-head original type screws. I will be installing the sight on a 1943 Maltby. The beauty of this sight is the fact you can switch to a different rifle, at will, without any gunsmithing needed. Mag Fed Canuk, if you don't mind me asking, where did you purchase your sight from and have you had the chance to test it out at the range?

A few years ago when I had a PH-5C and a South African authorized copy on a couple of my No.4s, I ordered Scott Stonehill's 'single-side' screws for them. I received a knurled, slotted screw on the first order and a hex-headed and slotted screw on the second order. Not cheap by any means but eminently workable and effective screws. Quality items that I gave free with the sights when I sold them. Scott's work is superb, always has been.

BC1,
Great job! Knowing that you were looking for one, I was hoping that it was you who had scooped the TZ a few hours ago. I purchased mine from a private individual who no longer had a need for the sight. No, I haven't been to the Range yet. I have a few of the PH 5Cs on rifles but wanted to compare characteristics with the TZ 4/47, so went out looking for one. Congrats on your new purchase; super piece of kit!

Thanks Mag Fed Canuk! I will keep you all posted with installation and range results on this same thread to keep it all in proper perspective. Scott is making my screw kit for this sight, he answered my initial email within an hour of my winning this auction! I'm very excited about this project! Mad Fed, by the way I have several friends in the Trenton, Ont. area and the GTA and Ottawa as well. Love visiting your province every autumn! I go turkey/deer hunting with those guys in the Tamworth area and moose hunting in the North of Ontario.

I received the sight today and is it ever nice! Great condition too, I just need to clean it up some and wait for the new mounting screws to arrive then off to the range with a few boxes of 174 Gr. FMJ's and find my zero at 100 yds. I will keep you guys posted as this project moves along. Here is a picture of the sight attached to the rifle without the long ejector screw.
