I picked this up at a private estate sale today.
Mind you I know absolutely nothing about Webley`s, it appears to me as a plain jane Mk. IV wartime gun, numbers matching and no import stamps that I can see.

No paper, $300.00 out the door.

Can I use .38 special in this?
Please advise and thanks!!

38 Special cases are also .007" (nominal) smaler in diameter than the proper 38 S&W. At best, they will come out severely bulged. And of course, in this gun - can't be loaded without sticking out the front (38 Special has a case 1.16" long, s6 S&W ,76").

That`s what I understand, you can`t close the cylinder on a .38 special.
I think that`s a good thing!
Thank you longlee303, this might start a new area for me.
