It had not occurred to me to try to jam my P-83 into my P-64 holster. I cannot imagine you could ever get the flap closed even if you somehow got it in there. My P-64 is a pretty tight fit in its' holster and the P-83 is notably larger. The guy on GB in Poland sells P-83 holsters (I have not ordered anything from him as yet, but I have seen reports from others who have and seemed to have good things to say).

If you got/ordered the P-83 from AIM, the two I've gotten both came without a holster, but with the cleaning rod with the folding handle.
