Please elaborate, I don't know what "BDM girls" are, although it was obvious the young man was observing/supervising a group of girls. Thanks for any information.

Ah, never mind, I just looked it up online... "Bund Deutscher Mädel or BDM" - League of German Girls. Female contingent of the Hitler Youth movement.

you got it. I can't quite translate the later words, but the first is 'field sports' with a date, then giving the location.

My co-worker's grandmother was in the BDM. She told me that her grandmother still has much of her paperwork and photos from the time. Even has the papers certifying her racial "purity."
