A buddy has a hi-point 9mm carbine, the first time he took it to the range I laughed at him.
After watching for awhile I said, let me try that thing. Guess what I now have a Hi-point 40 cal carbine. I have put about 1000 rds thru it with no problems at all, not one failure. I have read alot of bad things about Hi-points, But it is always someone that doesn't own one. I have alot of firearms that I would use first if needed, but for the money I think a Hi-point carbine is great. JMO

Life time warranty also and you don't have to be the original buyer....just like Craftsmen non-powered hand tools. Buy one beat up and not functioning for a song, send it in for repairs.

I had one that I got for about $90. It was basically new. We must have fired 500 rounds out of it one day, plinking in my buddies' back yard. It ran perfectly. It was a hoot to shot and we took it out many times after that. I still have the sight tool somewhere for it.
