I am thinking about buying the scope and the mount from the guy on ebay from the Ukriane for 310$ shipped. Are these things worth the money?

Lots of variables here. By who and when was the scope made? Type of scope? Is mount cast or milled? Just not enough info to give you a meaningful answer.

I could not find the seller hetman500, the one I was looking at was being sold by taxidermi-ua. Has anyone bught one from him?

Taxidermy-ua sells the same stuff that Hetman500 used to sell. I bought from taxidermy-ua with no problems but it does take a while to ship from the Ukraine. He is selling the same repro scope packages I.O. has been selling lately http://ioinc.us/mm5/merchant.mvc?Sc...IO&Product_Code=SCOP0005&Category_Code=Optics so I'd try them first and save on shipping. And yes they are both the Fotodevice made PU replicas with fake WW2 "Progress" manufacturer's markings and milled steel mount setups with imitation WW2 Izhevsk proofs.

Will these high quality Ukraine copies fit an original PU M91/30. I found a very nice 1944 Izhevsk last week complete with all matching numbers and turned down bolt. The only thing missing is the scope and mount and I want to make sure all the holes will line up and the threads are the same before I spend 300$ on one

I have a samekind of a scope and mount that i got from ebay aswell, and the scope should fit the original mount because the PU scope has been in use for number of different applications, but I am not sure about the fact that the mounting bed will fit the holes of an original PU sniper, but if someone would be kind to measure the distance of the mounting bolt holes in their original PU sniper then I can measure the distance from the repro mounting that I have and we will all clear that out easily, and you wouldnt have to spend that $300 for nothing.
