I have three, mounted on a Swiss K-3 a 96 Swede and a Yugo 48. One of the best features is that they require no alteration of the rifle. At age 63 and wearing trifocals they are very easy to use. I got the model with the elevation dial, much like the Swedish model with the elevator dial, cannot remember the name at the moment. That said it is not as good as a receiver mounted apeature, but is much easier to use than a leaf rear. I have the double diopter setup, ie a diopter or peep for both the front and rear. On a circular target you just look through the rear peep, center the target in the front and that's it. On other targets just center the target in the front apeature and go. The second time I used mine I nailed an armadillo at about 130 yards shooting offhand. The gun had only been fired on target at 25 yards, so my first shot showed me where I was hitting, and I nailed him on the second with a bit of hold under.
From an asthetic standpoint they go well with the mil surps, the only thing is the blueing is too black and does not match the faded appearance of most of the old guns.
