A friend handed this to me and said to play with it and see if I could make it work. He has had it for about (and I quote him on this) "30 years!" Here in The South, that may mean 10 or 100 years. I have no idea of it's age. It has turret knobs for reticle adjustment, so I know it's a mountable scope, well that and the fact that it has a Weaver-style base. The pics didn't come out too good as I only have a phone or a lil Kodak EasyShare, but I tried! haha! I will contact, if possible, the importer to Canada who has nicely added their phone number to the tag that's so blurry, on Monday. But, can you guys even tell me what this is? Haha! Thanks for any help offered. I appreciate it.
I will speak more of details after I get the pics to load, and have a point of reference for the discussion. I'm not good at this stuff, so I better take it real slo-o-o-o-ow.
Damn! I just looked at them and made a post about each and every pic! I'm on dial-up and it took forever! Man, I wonder what happened? I mean, they were there! HAHAHA!
Pic 2 is the control box. Tag reads as:
" NIGHT SUPER 3x78"
"MADE IN BYELARUS"
Pic 3 is a tag that reads as:
"Imported by"
"Global Supply Co., Inc."
"Ont., Canada M3J 2G1"
"1(800)641 7469"
Pic 4 is the filter cap that rotates revealing red lenses (IR?).
Pic 5 is the "big" end. The yellow looking thing is actually a bluish lense in a tubethat sticks up about 2 inches from the main lense. It is stepped and flat black.
Pic 6 shows the turrets for windage and elevation adjustment. The banded ring to the left of the turrets is a rotating ring that I "assume" focuses something, as the eyepiece end also has an adjuster which I "assume" is a focusing ring, as well.
I hope it works, this time. It's taking me quite awhile on dial-up to do it! hahaha!
Yep, after checking back, I notice that there is now a double-post of it. Wasn't there a minute ago. Oh well. Dial-up, I guess. This thing is killing me! HAHA Thanks. Maybe Kalinka can help me? haha I have bought PSL scopes from them. Probably them, anyway.
