Colt New Service 455 ELEY. From Colt’s look-up it’s:

Year of Manufacture
1915
Model
NEW SERVICE AND NEW SERVICE TARGET MODELS

In great shape. Just missing ejector rod head. Fully functions.

Any thoughts on value?

Are there any crossed keys proofs on the triggerguard bow or on the frame near the barrel? If so it may have gone to Canada and that will affect value.

Nope, no crossed keys, but I picked it up in Afghanistan on the PAK border. Top of barrel marked “YORK HOUSE REGENT ST LONDON”

Ah, it has a British purveyor's name. That will affect the value upward some. It's worth getting a letter from Colt for this one.

Value can't be determined accurately from your one picture. More pictures taken in indirect sunlight (to show the true color of the metal finish) as well as closeup pictures of any markings, and clear pictures of both sides of the grips (to show condition & originality). Even then it will be somewhat difficult because the London purveyor's name will add some value but just how much will depend upon the buyer. Also, we don't get to see Colts shipped to London very often & this will be a learning experience for most of us.
