A 55 years old "froggy" arriving on the forum. Please be kind, I am not very used to writing in English and especially for Americans

I live in France, in th ouest of the country.
Omaha beach is 200 miles away,
General Patton came to free our hometown the 4th of august 1944.
I'm found of the the 1903 bolt rifle and M1 Garand.

YES, in France you can buy weapons if you have a shooting licence or hunting licence.
4 categories :
A: full auto black gun, AK 5.56, .223 or 7.62 .308 no autorisation
B: half auto rifle or Hand gun: possible with a sport shooting licence and a state autorisation for 5 years.
😄 Bolt or 12, 16, 20, 28 gauge hunting rifle, hunting or shooting licence
D Black powlder and 4.5 air indentity cart and over 18 years.

Complètement automatique?! Le ressortissant français est un invité fréquent dans notre maison américaine et semble toujours étonné de la portée de ma collection. J'ai eu l'impression que sa surprise signifiait que la propriété était beaucoup plus difficile en France.

In France we don't have a 2nd amendment in the Constitution wich recognizes to every French citizen the right to bear arms...
we don’t have much to complain about, there are much stricter european's countries on the detention and use of weapons.
