1916 Oviedo 7.62mm, been debating on one of these for awhile. Couldn't resist, though, and the price was right!
Nice shiney bore and the stock looks good. Had a little rust under the handguard and some minor pitting. It is one of the Samco imports.

Very sexy. You need to do a review after you shoot it. I'm considering selling my P90 to get some more guns (the ammo is just getting too expensive) and one of these is on the top of my list.

A nice piece. I love mine and it shoots my light reloads extremely well....

Here's load data on the .300-Savage. Using this data for loading .308-Win cases will keep the pressure down to the 45,000cup or less, level that the original 7X57 chambering was designed for. True .308-Win loads can push 60,000cup, which is way too much for the '93-action from which the Model 1916 is made.
