Wasn't really looking for another M91/30. I spot a excellent condition all matching numbers Tula 1939. Priced at $ 149.95 reduced from $176. Then I notice the big sign We won't be under sold. I figure why not try. I saw a Izzy for $99.99 a few table over in good condition mismatch numbers. So I tell the dealer with the Tula I saw a M91/30 a few tables over for $99.95 he asks what is my offer? I say $100 cash, to my surprise he said SOLD plus tax. Gee maybe I should of said $90? Total cost $112.50 I haven't seen a decent Tula around here for over a year.

Haven't had this one apart yet as it is about 120 out in the garage right now.

nice rifle, I still have yet to own a Tula produced rifle. All of mine have been Izhevsk, even my Finn M39 is an 1894 Izhevsk receiver.

You found a nice one and at a very nice price. The stock has a very nice color and the metal looks factory fresh. I understand about the heat. Luckily my garage is not quite that warm. When I left work on Thursday at 6pm is was 101 in the shade.

Heat index today is 105.

Got the bore cleaned and it is excellent. Though this one has the worst trigger pull to date. Easy fix.

I would think one dated 1939 would of saw service during WW2. This ones bore is in excellent condition. Shooting corrsive ammo, well maybe they justed cleaned the bores on a regular basis?

It has rebuild mark and replacement stock, it saw service.

After taking this one apart I have noticed all the parts have the Tula star. Tula's I have had in the past always had a few Izzy parts.
