Nothing spectacular except I had my youngest son Noah, 8yrs old, out with me and this was his first "kill". He was getting board, digging in the ground, sitting on the grape vine, you know just being a kid and I had to keep reminding him to "SHHHH" but a pair came out of the corner of the woods about 75 yrds away, I pointed them out to him, he covered his ears and BOOM. I hit her in the chest, she ran right at us and dropped 5 yrds. away. Just can not explain how excited he was! It was a priceless moment.

Congratulations. When do you think he'll be ready to hunt himself? I think I was about 8 or 9 the first time Dad let me take a gun into the woods with him. Before that it had been rabbit or squirrel hunting with a toy Daniel Boone rifle
