Well, after reviewing a few nice yugo's, norinco's, etc.
I finally settled on this never been fired Russian from a great guy in my own town.....
I would love to hear any opinions and comments and any info on it that you might have; I'm an SKS newbie.......thanks in advance!
It's a 1953, pardon the crappy pictures..

I think good is an understatement there. That's a beautiful gun. Just make sure you can afford to buy tons and tons of ammo. It tends to run out fast when you have an SKS.

Actually it's so pretty, I'm afraid to shoot it!
Maybe I should just look at that one while I shoot another......Is that sick?:D

Nice rifle. I wanted a 53 since that's the year I was born, but found a very sweet non-refurbed 1952 that spoke to me. I like your '53...
