Does anyone have a frigged up US 05 bayonet ?. I ask as a buddy gave me a 1942 dated AFH long blade poker. It had been nickeled/chromed long ago. But it's main detractor is that it's been snapped off just behing the release button. So I have no rear end , no grips , no release assy. I figured someone may have a junky chopped blade condition 05 back end I could get welded to this blade. My plans are for a Xmas present to a good buddy with an 03.
Any help appreciated.

Try Northridge International. I think that they may have demilitarized ones (with broken blades).

The only demilled Garand bayonets they have are the M5s

Well I got a demilled M1905 from Northridge for $24.95. If it's US made or not I don't really care - as I will cut it behind the muzz/ring and toss that away with the sheared blade. I'll retain the AFH 1942 long blade with it's crossguard/muzz ring and weld it together to make a useable pimpy look 05 poker. It will go t a good buddy for Xmas so he will have a long blade fo rhis '03. Thanks for all the help !.
