I am heading back to Finland this weekend so I guess Vic is in total charge for a while. Do not worry as you are in good hands. :D

I am going to the armor auction that was posted about here a while ago and have some other work to do while I am there. It should be a good trip and I will be there 11 days or so. Much better weather this time as last time I was in Finland was in Feb and it was
COLD!!!!!

Lemmy had a good time laughing at me in the nasty weather. Too be honest after a day or so it was not that bad but -30 or so is TOUGH to get used to. I will get payback on him however as I plan on taking his M1907 carbine and putting it in my luggage ;)

It should be a great trip as Finland is without a doubt one of the best of all nations to travel to. I am going to be
in Hämenlinna for the most part but will take the train to Helsinki a couple of mornings - as I want to see JTV and the museums. If there are any Finns here that live in the area of Hämenlinna send me an email and we shall see about meeting up. I will have my world phone with me and that gives me a local Finn phone number. Looking forward to it and yes I will post some photos when I am back.

Welcome!

Hi!

It's good to read you visiting here in Finland very soon. Let's hope that it will not rain as much as it is possible on autumn time. My relatives from Virginia visited Finland two months ago. During these two years when I have visited The collector's forum I have been really surprised knowledge of Finnish military rifles in US (www.mosinnagant.net). Your site has also done a major favor for all Finns when you have broadened knowledge of our WWII era history. Many people in US don't know what was going on distant parts of Europe.

I wish you: Have a pleasent trip!

You mean Lukefish is an American/Finn "invention"?

I thought Finns ate Lukefish sandwiches, doused with a healthy dose of Frank's Red Hot, at baseball and football games sold by stadium vendors! (Or perhaps I am confusing this with Sushi sellers at Dodgers and Giants games.)

Happy lukefish eating! Travel safe and make good memories. Drink some Kossu for me!

If you find anything related to Sibelius...poster, book, commerative, pick it up for me please.

Shyq,

Now I understand your avatar a little better. That is exactly what I m thinking about lukefish.
