I am of course assuming that my Hanyang 88 will use a spring from an 88 Commission Rifle. Alas, my first outing with it revealed a weak mainspring that would not ignite a single primer. The poor thing must have been stored with the spring under tension for the past 70 years! I have checked Wolff and a few others to no avail.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, and if they won't fit, what will?

Well thanks to PeterS, google translator, and the nice people at Historica, my spring is on the way. Service there seems better than many places here in the US. The link is a good one for anyone needing stuff that can't be found here.
