I found what looks like a mossberg 500 at a gunshop. It's unmarked, as in there's no markings, not even a serial number on the receiver. The guy at the shop says its a monkey wards westernfield550. I guess my question is if all parts are interchangeable?

As far as I know it's a Mossberg 500. All parts interchange between the Westernfield AB, ABD and Mossy 500 of the same era. There are some parts changes on later models but this is the same situation with the ones with a Mossberg stamp, too.

Hmmm....didn't realize the 500s went back to the 1960s.
