I recently obtained this rifle. It's a total mismatch, but original. I have an original G33/40 bolt on the way as this rifle currently has a standard K98K bolt. I never thought I would run across one of these. Does anyone know the production totals on these rifles?

Very nice. My data from actual observed 33/40's is at least 48,000 for 1940, about 35,000 for 1941 and 45,000 for 42.

While the 1940's are the most common by SN extension, the dot 1942 is by far the most common in the US.

Nice photos!!

Nice rifle. You will have to post another pic when you get the bolt for it.
