Some one is trying to sell a supposedly all matching and correct G24T. The problem is it has a turned down bolt handle like the 98K numbered to the rifle I have never seen a G24T with anything other than a straight bolt handle. Is this correct or a little creative renumbering? What do you guys think, real or not?

Not correct, altho could be part for an official post war overhaul. Or could be some one turned it down for scope or-----? The only one I own has a correct m/m bolt, purchased when they were cheap. If not too expensive you could put a VZ bolt in it! They are getting really expensive!

Look at the serial numbers on the bolt. If they looked stretched it probably is an original bolt that was bent to make the gun more like a k98.

check the letter block.. the rifle being mentioned has different letter blocks on the receiver and the bolt... the number is the same, but the bolt does not match
