Anyone ever seen a back pack like this? Fur covered, hard frame, canvas inside. Any help appreciated.

Mine was made in 1950 I think, a 5 on the left of the makers mark (between the shoulder straps) a 0 on the right. Any such mark on yours?

As for who used it... Chip Minx told me about who used it, perhaps he has more info? What I've written is all I know.

Tornister is the Germanic word for backpack, the best word for these fur covered ones...

On the end of 1 of the straps is stamped "VIKASPAR
BATTLERD
LEUTWIL"
Ther is a"3" on the left side & a "9" on the right side of the oval. The date I guess.
Thanks alot.
