I think they are among the coolest looking of all Husqvarna's. I know some of you agree.... Posted below are some pictures of my two 1600H (Hellstock) HVAs, both in 30-06, one with the straight walnut stock and the other with the Monte-Carlo. The staight stock with 5x variable Redfield came from Allan's and the MC came from Simpson's. I put a 4x wide view Weaver on it. They are accurate and fun to shoot (for a short time)!

Made from 1958 to 1967 in three calibers, .243 Win, 6.5x55mm, and 30-06 on the 1640 "improved Mauser" action and a 20.5 in (52cm ) barrel. Sold for the princely sum of 475 Krona ($59) back then. I'd love to have a translation of the last sentence in the first picture....

I've shown you mine now show us yours!!:) Dan

Great rifles, I´d wish my 1640 would also have "Helstock"!
If ´they´d be mine, i would polish them every day!

The last sentece in english:

"Modell 1600 Fullstock is even produced with Monte-Carlo Stock in selected walnut, mainly for export"

Thanks for the translation Rhoenradheizer! :) If I polished them every day, both my wife and other rifles would get jealous! :(

Come on Steve.....We're waiting with bated breath....
Some weeks ago i found a m/1640 at the widforss site: www.widfors.se,
sold for 6000 SEK, 750 dollars.
As a German with a holidaycottage just 350 mls away in Sweden i have the luck to be several times a year over there; you can´t imagine how much beautys (HVA´s of course)! you´ll find in the local gunshops.
My last great buy has been a 1310 in very good condition: just 3000 SEK, around 320 dollars. Pictures will come soon in the shotgun pictures thread.
Sorry: I´ve meant m/1640H, the condition seems not to be the best!
absolutely gorgous!-I love that 6.5x55[love 'em anyway-but full stock is SO much better looking!]
All I gots to say is one thing nnnnniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiccccce.................
Foudufoot;

Very nice rifles!

Sorry, but I don't have any pics of mine (or an accurate count for that matter :) ). I will have to work on that. As many of you know, these are my favorite models. SD Hunter or Kriggevaer, did either of you keep a count? ;)

BTW, technically you have a 1600H and a 1600H MC. I think I prefer the Monte Carlo version myself. These were also available in .270, .308, and 7x57. The 7x57 is my absolute favorite cartride, and a 1600H Monte Carlo in 7x57 is my "go to" rifle.
Oh ja, I kept count until I ran out of fingers. I had my boots on and couldn't see my toes, so I had to stop there. :D;)

Nice try Steve, but you won't get away that easy this time. You've got the Holidays ahead of you, so plenty of time to take inventory and pictures. No more excuses!!! ;)
