I have a type 99 that needs a new rear sight assembly I can not find the pin that hold the front sight on. how do I find it ? It looks as if it never had one
and how do you remove it with out destroying it

The site base has been ground and turned up side down to fit in the stock. It is unsalvagable . I will try to post pics but I do not have a Digi cam just my cell phone cam

It is not that bad and salvagable I got whats left of the rear sight base off. The bore is mint
