heat shrink tube isnt permanent, I use brass or aluminum rods in the hobby section, they are cheap and fit perfectly on the sight, they are soft metal and easy to file down, I super glue it over the sight post and paint black, VERY easy.

Is it possible to adjust the front sight for elevation? Is the sight pin threaded?
