The older man in the middle is in the Landsturm, XII Army Corps (Saxon), 1st Battalion. His collar insignia were introduced in 1915. The other two are reservists or Landwehr men. They are also Saxons, though of different units. The man on the right appears to be from the infantry, while the man on the left is from a mounted unit. The sword is the KD1889 with Saxon Wappen.

Father and son? Three generations?

Quick clarification for the non-German speakers here....a "Wappen" is a coat-of-arms. Amazingly clear picture, BTW.
