Here's Karl Waldherr. He was a Gütlersohn (son of a small farmer) from Johanniskirchen. A soldier of the 30th bavarian infantry regiment, 10th company. He was killed on the 21st of July 1918 at the age of 19 by gas poisoning. He is buried in Warmériville (France)Endgrablage: Block 2 Grab 387

This one somehow appears more tragic, not because the outcome was death, it was for all I've posted recently. It seems so as it was more prolonged, more suffering I believe. Here is Jakob Kessler, Ersatz reservist in the reserve infantry regiment number 247. He had won the Iron cross 2nd class and the silver service medal. He died on the 28th of september 1918 in a bavarian war hospital. He died in Maubeuge of a lung inflammation he contracted after a gas attack (Chemical lung inflammation? Dangerous and hard to treat even today...). He was buried in Frasnoy (France) Endgrablage: Block 1 Grab 50
