As someone wrote a while ago the Germans were the first to use poison gas in 1915, but the other side soon learned...

Here's Augustin Achatz, farmers son from Greising. Soldier in a bavarian infantry regiment. He died on the 9th of september 1917, during an enemy gas attack at the age of 19 years and 7 months. He was buried here: Wambrechies (Frankreich) Block 1 Grab 123

Josef Dullinger, economist and mayors son from perbing, died on the 20th of August 1917 due to Gas poisoning after 21 months of true service at Fresnoy (northern france) at the age of 20 years and 10 months. He was buried in the soldiers cemetery Henin-Lietard. After the war he was reburied in Billy-Montigny.

Here is Josef Schreiner. A farmers son from Reuaigen, winner of the Iron cross, 2nd class. He died in france on the 23rd of june 1918 following gas poisoning at the age of 29 years and 3 months. He is probably buried in a mass grave in vauxbuin...
