As someone wrote a while ago the Germans were the first to use poison gas in 1915, but the other side soon learned...
Here's Augustin Achatz, farmers son from Greising. Soldier in a bavarian infantry regiment. He died on the 9th of september 1917, during an enemy gas attack at the age of 19 years and 7 months. He was buried here: Wambrechies (Frankreich) Block 1 Grab 123
