Never having much indepth exposure to the fine ins and out of this Grail of a gun renders me incapable of assisting a friend interpet the meaning of this stamp on the rear of the cylinder on his "new" Fosberry.
Can anyone help?

Just checked my Fosberys and neither have that marking.
There was a small cache of Fosbery parts in the USA but unfortunatley someone got to it before me. The Fosbery parts were in an accumulation of Webley parts and I don't think the buyer knew what he was getting or the seller of what he had sold.

On the subject of Fosbery's...does anyone know where it is possible to get a set of the wooden grips for a Fosbery?
The gutta percha grips all have a small flaw or chip somewhere and just for aesthetics I would like set of wooden grips.
The replacement grips being sold for the Fosbery are GOD AWFUL: full of bubbles and missed checkering but "whatcha expect for $30.00" was the response.
