Went to Fort Wayne show today. Seen a couple Tikka M39, one Chinese type 53, and several guys walking around with refurbs. Refurbs were going for 99.99, and they were moving. Asked to look at the one in the bottom of the crate, that was a huge inconvience. No dragoons, m91's, m44's, or anything that I was really looking to get. I did walk out with a Turkish mauser for 135.00, so it was not a total loss. May have to see whats for sale at the Indy 1500 next weekend.

Sounds like it was a good day for you, a bad day at a show is better than....... well, you get the picture.

Seems to be around the going price on the Tikka's M39's maybe even low end.

The Tikka's don't come up too often, I haven't seen one at a show, I picked up this one a couple years back from an online seller. :)

Built post war and in a recycled wartime Sako stock.

Most are in excellent condition!

I went to the anual gun show in the Vancouver area today. Refurb Mosins were going for $200 range. They sell cheaper on line. I find most gun shows start their prices at or higher than average retail. The nicest Mosin was a mint Polish M44 asking $345. I want one but that's a bit much.
