these are rare... short cylindrical filter canisters for filtering carbon monoxide. these have a screw fitting on either end - male on top and female on the bottom so they can be connected on top of standard filter for added protection (also sold on the fetish market as they can be connected between two hoses...) see http://www.atemschutz-ddr.de/ > PSA > Filter > DP-1 for details. no end caps but new and unused.
