Guys, Twitter is a social networking site, similar to facebook, but it is way simpler. It is just a way to follow friends, celebrities, companies, etc, by short messages they post on the site. For example, if you want to know (follow) what AIM surplus is up to, you choose to subscribe to their notifications by typing their name into your twitter account and choosing "follow". Then when they get in some interesting firearms or ammo, they will announce it on twitter (the announcement is called a tweet) and you will get notified.
It is free to sign up. I wasn't interested in it until recently, so I am a beginner at it, but it is an easy way to keep in touch with vendors and such.
