I didn't want to hijack poan's thread and this is something that I've never been able to find a complete answer for. Was our Folke Dahlberg, designer of firearms, the same as the Swedish author-artist-illustrator-designer of the same name? Author Folke Dahlberg won several Swedish literature prizes and was renowned for his illustrations of ships and boats. He was prominent in the area of surrealist literature, but his art is very precise and direct, or at least the art I have seen. The author-artist Folke Dahlberg died in 1966.

I've read a lot of the Swedish websites honoring the author-artist, but none of them has mentioned his design ventures in firearms. But, with his art/design talents, I can see a connection with the FG Husqvarna rifles.

Our Swedish colleagues I hope can reveal the whole story.

No, according to some 10 year old emails from Pettson in my archive there are 2 different persons with the same name!

Sadly Pettsons Page no longer exists on-line, but those of us who did print a copy in time still can read his VERY interesting article about F. Dahlberg!

Hello gentlemen, and merry xmas!

Great to know that some still remembers me out there in cyberspace. And you even remeber my picture with her royal higness the swedish princess. I'm impressed gentlemen!

Actually the picture know rests at my facebook-profile, where people now can enjoy her beauty (and my)! Perhaps she did was a little bit of stiff, and a little more flatchested than one might think!

But otherwise I've been home for 2 months and already miss Greenland again! If I ever come back to the west coast I'll stay there to the end!
