I saw a case of Port .308 for $650. Didn't buy it. Come to think of it, I didn't buy ANYTHING. Izzy TZ80 was popping up again and even Chinese corrosive .308 was 50 cents a round. You couldn't touch a FAL mag for less than $20. There was no Greek HXP 30-06 to be had nor was there any Yugo M75 8mm to be had, just lots of overpriced Turk (up to $25 per bandolier). Wolf ammo looked to be in good supply, just expensive. There was wall to wall people, but most were only looking. I saw very little buying.

The crowd probably had sticker shock, especially with Christmas coming soon.
I wonder when the rush will end. I could be wrong, but could imagine ammo becoming like oil futures if the antis don't get anything rolling early, and attention goes more towards the economy. Also, if there are more layoffs I expect it could become a matter of guns/ammo or butter on the home front.
