with my recently-acquired m/96-38 - a 1898-made CG serial #895, with a selection of loads using RL15.
It was -2/-3C, slightly windy - best group was ten shots just making it into a 1" circle. I cheated by using a wrist rest and my excellent new sling [thanks, Swede].
I was pretty happy with that, especially as I was shooting 140gr S&B cheapo bullets with exposed bases.
Gives me something to work on.
