My friend was shooting his IZH-70 .380 Mak when he somehow managed lose the Firing pin. I have no idea how he did this, everything looks to be in place and in order but i'm not a gunsmith so its possible (likely) I'm overlooking something. Where would I go about locating him a replacement firing pin?

Odd ... The way you describe this I'd like to ask - have you pulled the slide and looked in the FP channel?
Yes, looked perfectly fine, aside from there being no pin in it. I didn't see anything that would indicate any sort of failure and its left me baffled as to what happened.

This reminds me of an old "Candid Camera" episode. They pulled the engine out of a car and a lady rolled it downhill into a gas station. The attendant started filling the car with gas and asked her if she wanted the oil checked. She said yes, so he opened the hood and then stepped back and said incredulously: "Lady you're engine's missing!". She said: "What! It was just there!" The attendant stepped out into the street and stared back up the hill looking for the engine ...

Well, as Teakwood pointed out they're not hard to find nor are they expensive.
