I paid $950, which seems to be about $250 above the going rate on a Russian rearsenal job. The bore is very good and the marks in the wood really appealed to me.
I think that is an excellent deal for the rifle in its non-refurbed, non-import condition. That is what I paid for mine. Unfortunately, I sold it some time ago and am still regretting it to this day .
